The Panasonic World Solar Challenge is truly a unique adventure, with teams from all over the world preparing their solar powered vehicles to undertake the 3000km journey from tropical Darwin in the Northern Territory to Adelaide in South Australia.
Entries are now closed for 2007, but you can register your interest to be amongst the first to know when the 2009 competition is announced. Planned for the third week in October 2009, the time is right to take the first step to be part of it .

Families and friends of the 2007 Panasonic World Solar Challenge participants can share the adventure by joining the Club Solar Tour , where they will cross Australia's continent by private air-conditioned coach following the same route as the solar cars.
